War in Ukraine

They need to have a parlay with the Russian commander and tell him if he withdraws to closest friendly Russian territory, likely Belarus, he will guarantee their safety. And he is to leave the arms and ammo cache and if that is destroyed then the agreement is null and void.

They destabilized Ukraine with a US backed coup, and them brought in NATO weapons and built up an army specifically designed to fight Russia. They also attacked the Russian peoples living in the south and east of the country.

Transnistria has done none of those things to Ukraine.
Blah blah blah more false lying coup stupidity. Here’s to seeing Russia finally leave Moldova as they were never welcome there!

Transnistria poses a threat to Ukraine, is it a large threat, probably not but it is a small. They are a pro-Russian breakaway region that houses Russian troops who Putin eventually would like to connect another land bridge with. More importantly they have 20,000 tons of Soviet ammo that Ukraine needs to fight the Russians.

Transnistria hasn't attacked nor even made any threats to attack Ukraine.

Ukraine should be able to go to any of their former Soviet bloc allies in Eastern Europe to get ammo. Why can't Poland, Germany or Czechia give them more than what is being stored in Transnistria?

Then that weakens your argument for Donbas and Crimea when they only had them as an independent state for 30 years.
The only argument that currently matters on Crimea is this one: The USSR ceded it to Ukraine when Ukraine was in the Soviet Union. When Ukraine gained it's independence it remained part of Ukraine. Crimea voted in favor of independence from Russia. Russia recognized it as part of Ukraine. It is internally recognized as part of Ukraine. End of story.

Exactly... when they were in the same country. Once the USSR broke up, it still had a lease agreement with Ukraine to use the naval base. That was still only 70 years ago. That still doesn't give them any more right to Ukraine than the Tartars that you mentioned earlier.

And in 2014, they changed their minds.

Don't you believe in self-determination?

Now answer my question: Why would they attack Transnistria?
Because its occupied by Russians, offering at the very least an intelligence gathering back door. And it ties down Ukrainian forces to defend that border, which may be worth freeing up. It may also give them an ally if they have worked something out with Moldova. It could also be used for staging/refueling.

You guys were talking about a land bridge making it all the way across Ukraine to connect to Transnistria. So it would also deny Russia a strategic goal.

Lol, the USSR considered the people living in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, to be of "Ukrainian" nationality, not Russian.

I was responding to that post. That's why I went "word for word" on their platform. Granted I didnt go through every word. Ut I doubt you have either.

The government enforcing a social program by its nature means it isnt conservative.
You didn't go word for word on their platform. You picked a small section and went with that. Honestly since you don't have the attention span to watch an entire baseball game then I doubt you have the attention span to read the entire platform.

The Ukrainian people that live in Transnistria live there peacefully. I wonder why they don't move to that "democracy" over in Ukraine instead? They probably are better off in Transnistria.

Lol. You really throw some tantrums when someone points out your idol's coke addiction.
Oh yeah that’s it. It’s not what’s actually happening of pointing and mocking at your post stupidity that has been debunked multiple times. On pretty much every topic.

You packed you bag to go defend Transnistria yet Curly? 🤡

You've never established a timeline on what would acceptably make Crimea Ukrainian. Ok it was 70 years ago, if it had been 100 years, 150? When would it be "fully" Ukrainian?

A lend lease to a naval base doesnt maintain a claim of ownership over the whole region, ala Guantanamo Bay does not make Cuba American territory.
