War in Ukraine

When parody comes too close to reality
@Rasputin_Vol hey Moe about your Ukrainian S-300 claim a couple of posts back? 🤡

Russian MoD claims they carefully vet their targets and hit what they’re shooting at with their precision weapons.

Most probable cause of cathedral destruction in Odessa was Ukrainian missile – top brass

The list of targets hit are all civilian and residential in nature.

Videos show Odesa cathedral destruction after Russian missile strikes

So they hit what they were shooting at right?

Saying the quiet part out loud. They DGAF about the Ukrainians. They are the proxy battering ram used for US hegemonic interests. It is obvious that Lindsey Graham's sentiments are embraced by an overwhelming majority of the warmongers. Fight to the last drop of Ukrainian blood.

The "quiet part" being that Putin has wrecked the Russian military and economy, by believing the ludicrous intelligence of his yes-man advisors, and escalating a frozen war in Ukraine that was supposed last 3 days and is still raging a year and a half later.

Both cases are true to anybody paying attention. The bald dwarf illegally invaded his sovereign neighbor violating agreements his country signed stating they wouldn’t do. And that behavior indeed benefited NATO and Europe by having Russia self immolate. And it only makes sense the west would be more than happy to help arm Ukraine in their fight for their sovereignty. Simply put Russia *****ing the bed is a serendipitous opportunity for NATO and Europe.

West knew Ukraine wasn’t ready for counteroffensive – Wall Street Journal

The US mistakenly thought that Kiev would make up for its lack of arms and training with “courage and resourcefulness”

Western military officials knew earlier this year that Ukraine lacked the supplies and training to launch a successful counteroffensive against Russian forces, but allowed Kiev to launch its disastrous operation regardless, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.

John McCain got one thing right. The bald dwarf is simply the General Manager of a nuclear armed pilot gas station.

1. Keep in mind that the USSR and China had a brief skirmish going in the late 1960s leading up to the US opening the door. It seems clear that the intent was to play China against the Soviets.

2. Between NASA, the Vietnam War and LBJ's Great Society, the US was printing more money than was backed by the gold it possessed. Charles de Gaulle began redeeming dollars for gold after the French noticed Vietnam (a former French colony) being flooded with dollars and he began to realize what was going on. The closing of the gold window was a default by the United States. We prevented the conversion of these excess dollars to gold that would have emptied our reserves. I don't necessarily place all the blame on Nixon, but him lying about the gold window being closed "temporarily" was completely on himself.

It's always the French it seems. A joke steeped in reality. If the French had stayed home and not tried to recolonize SE Asia, we probably would never have been there in the first place. Most books I've read on the subject point to we basically funded their war in Vietnam to keep the idiots (France) from becoming part of the Soviet bloc. For anybody who doesn't know, we pumped a huge amount of aid and miliary equipment to enable the French to fight in SE Asia.

I agree with you largely about the monetary screwup - the bleeding gold part. It just seems like the solution is/was a total farce. Somehow there has to be a better solution. Imagine the chaos if the scientific world decided to float the relationship between the inch and the centimeter? When you are sourcing goods internationally and the agreed measure is dollars or yen or whatever per unit of length, weight, ..., you really have nothing definable because the currency relationship is BS as it stands.

The solution would have been for us to not have run up the debt that we did in the 1960s and devaluing the currency.

Outside of that, I'm not sure where me and you differ.

Probably, but then we'd also probably still disagree on why the US was spending beyond our means. Anyway the monetary thing probably had and has no easy solutions, and there's certainly not going to be stability by making it a commodity for speculators to drive. Just saying we are pegging our currency at so many dollars per ounce of gold, but we aren't exchanging gold for currency seems too simple to work, and that still gets back to any country manipulating its currency by defining monetary value to some arbitrary amount of measurable substance like gold. No easy answers, but it still seems the economists took the poorest and most destabilizing solution.

"Russia has destroyed 15 Leopard II tanks and 20 Bradley Fighting Vehicles in 24 hours, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed. "

Nick, pretty important to read beyond clickbait headlines.
Putin claimed that “[we] have never destroyed so much in one day”, noting that Ukrainian units were “fully equipped with foreign hardware.”

Putin also claimed that Russia had eliminated a number of Western mercenaries serving in Ukraine, blaming their “stupidity.” The PMCs were reported to include Polish and German volunteers.

Absolutely credible claims on the bald dwarf’s part 😂
