Its worse than what people would imagine. Meaning, once the CIA is involved they already have their marks especially in a places like the Ukraine. All of these officials are into money laundering or bribery schemes. They were probably using the federal reserve system for the transfers and if it touches a point with U.S. jurisdiction in anyway - the U.S. has jurisdiction to seize the money and indict the mark.

Lazarendo (former prime minister) is an easy example. He laundered nearly a half billion out of the Ukraine, was eventually indicted, convicted, and served time in the U.S. Most of the $400m has been seized and is the subject of mountains of litigation in dozens of countries/places for the last 25+ years. Its ongoing even - he is attempting to get his money back, I am associated with a case that will be impacted by some of the outcome of the forfeiture action. Here is the kicker, if the US wins they keep all the money, the people that lost money in the Ukraine are SOL... yet there is no real damage to the US.

U.S. arms are expensive to feed the neocons. They are actually very inefficient on a cost basis ratio. U.S. weapons are built for going back to your secured base at night i.e. police activity.

All those Navy carrier groups are basically worthless at this point, very expensive Titanics with planes on them.

Smaller things like Stingers/Javelins have their use, any of the larger systems are basically a waste of time in a real war. The larger drones might have their uses but even those get shot down and end up being very cost ineffective.
