War in Ukraine

Mine does, and I have global responsibility. Had the most awkward meeting with the Russian team and some of our other Eastern European units on Monday. One of the guys from Poland refused to join.

It’s really a bad situation for everyone.
I don't have a problem with Russian people, in fact everyone I've met has been nice as could be, they just have a crappy government. Kind of like ours is becoming.

Absolutely we are too reliant of foreign goods, the pandemic made that plain.

Can’t disagree at all. I’ve talked to many smart people in the energy field and there really isn’t a consensus that I can gather, In general I get the sense that natural gas should be a (relatively) short-term option, nuclear being one of the best mid-term options, and a hybrid model based largely on geography (tidal, wind, solar, hydro, nuclear) being the ultimate goal.

agree except in my view, nuclear is a long term base load option. There has to be plants that can regulate in response to changing load conditions that occur everyday and that is where the hydro and gas excel. The generation source option that, IMHO, is grossly overlooked is pumped storage. IMO if this country were to ever desire to bring manufacturing back home then generation is severely lacking to support it. Back when I used to try to track these things, China was putting huge coal plants in service every week which is why when you saw pictures around Bejing there was a rather thick haze in the air. I am pretty sure that they weren't overly concerned with air pollution standards than US plants have to meet. And we continued to pump jobs and manufacturing over there and believe it or not, rather large quantities of US high sulfur coal that we in this country couldn't burn.

That's crap Hog. You want to tear down any person who doesn't adhere to your view of things as provided to you by One America Network. The mere fact you use Dr. Fauci, a man who is smarter than you will ever understand, as a pejorative shows the depth of your analysis.

Uh, do I need to define pejorative for you?

Define it in another thread please, this one is for trashing Putin and giving NATO rock solid advice on how to win this war.

I would not kick out the Russian students...I would boot kick every last nationalistic CCP student on Day One if I was Prez.

‘Small but mighty’: Ukrainian soldiers Rescue Puppy they call ‘Rambo’

by Heather Hamilton, Social Media Reporter

As war in Ukraine continues, a puppy rescued by Ukrainian soldiers is being called their guardian and protector.

“He is our security. That is his job,” one of the soldiers said in the video posted by FreedomNewsTV. “He can hear very well if there is a stranger nearby.”

Rambo is not alone, with the soldiers also caring for a few other dogs.

One thing I like about the current level of reaction is that it's not just coming from the US. Putin would have to nuke the World at this point to make any headway.

Which is why the “Russia has nukes argument is ignorant”…not that you’re making it.

Maybe, but he's shooting at us first. Which sucks.

We need those ICBM launch stopping UFO's to show up and pump his brakes.
