War in Ukraine

The point I was making is that there are already many mandates in existence by government agencies. If PJ is against government mandates then I would say PJ is against vaccine mandates for any state or federal employee. Since they work for the government and not a private business then that would be a government mandate.
That’s better than how I read it but do you really see no difference between a government mandating vaccination for all of its citizens and mandating vaccination only for people who choose to work for the government?

Exactly. And for some reason that ticks off some of the posters in here and they call it populism. They are probably the type that turn their noses up at working class people in real life.
Were you in the forum when we had the discussion/ back-and-forth about restaurant workers and them being called unskilled?

I love the "gosh, you guys seem to know more about him that any of us" comebacks. I guess his ratings just appear magically as the highest rated opinion show on Fox.

I mean I get it, I'd be pretty embarrassed too if the guy who I've have ALWAYS agreed with suddenly started having his words used by Putin to "demonstrate" western support for the invasion.

Instead of calling Tucker out for his BS, ya'll are generally giving the guy a pass because he still hates Biden too.

Just own it.
Why do I care about any news commentator ratings? I don’t watch cable tv and especially cable news and haven’t in 20 plus years.
it’s not an embarrassment for me in any way because I could give no F***s about tucker or Maddow or anyone thinks about their own opinions.
And it’s hilarious you try to paint me in your overly simplistic generalization of a conservative when you are absolutely clueless about it

Their message is the one Trump ran against in the 2016 GOP Primary and won easily and it is even less relevant today vs 2016. You could put all 3 of them up on stage and they would get a 10th of the crowd Trump does. It only seems their audience is bigger because media bullhorns their message.
Meh, just looking at the people in here, I would say it is likely a significant number that would vote for one of these loose cannon neocons. At least 50%.

@utvolpj
I may have missed some context. Were you supporting government mandates or just saying the government shouldn’t prohibit businesses from requiring their employees to get a vaccine?
The feds or state govt shouldn't mandate that businesses can't require it. They should not override the wishes of local boards and govt to do things in their communities.

You work for the govt then tough luck. Maybe you'll support smaller govt next time you vote. Beyond that the govt shouldn't have the control to mandate a vax

THAT is a very serious concern, especially when we have spent untold dollars keeping them free from invasion over the years.

THAT friends is the real war. If the petro dollar is unhinged, Biden will make Carter look like an economic genius by comparison.

What should Biden do about it?

You are fighting an uphill battle with these guys. Before COVID, I would have agreed with them 110%. But I never thought in my mind that we would experience what we did in the US with the govt and private entities working together to force people into a medical decision.

There needs to be a serious discussion on the right with regards to violating personal medical decisions whether it comes from govt or private sector.

Yeah, you didn't bother to watch the interview because she talked about that clarification on Tucker. However, to me, that is just posturing. There is a very subtle distinction people are trying to make between bio lab and bio weapons lab.

Seems like the argument on bio labs and bioweapons labs is somewhat flawed. If a bio lab is working on cures, vaccines, treatments for a virus, bacteria, or whatever that currently affects or infects people, then that should be a positive thing. If a lab is attempting to modify something that never before affected or infected humans to become harmful to humans or to make something harmful to humans more harmful, then that's where the line needs to be drawn. Just follow the "first, do no harm" principle; that part is not rocket science. The Covid experience should have been enough of an eyeopener to prove to researchers with the best of intentions that playing Dr Frankenstein is too dangerous and has no place in this world; if they can't accept that, they are too stupid or careless to be diddling outside a padded room.
