War in Ukraine

How does it help either the average American or Russian citizen for our Govt to make Russia an enemy?

It doesn't and they shouldn't be but invading Ukraine was pointless other than to settle old scores between the two governments just like the War in Iraq. We paid a heavy price for it economically, and militarily. Russia will pay a well deserved price as well although I do feel sorry for the people who will be lost/have been killed because of it just like those who were lost in the War in Iraq

You really think people are that stupid and they are going to forget what democrat politicians were saying regarding this vaccine?

There is a war going on right now so of course they have put covid and the vaccine to the side for now. They found another group of people to villianize - Russians.
Need I say again absolutely no one has been forced to be vaccinated.

John Browning has yet to see his equal on machine gun design.

I'll disagree slightly. The team that designed the FN MAG did a pretty slam up job.

And the Russian PK series is still going strong.

But yes, US manufacturers other than Stoner are sadly lacking in GPMG development.

Hey Siri, what is gaslighting?

While I agree with his greater point, his statement is inarticulate to his meaning in the heat of the moment IMO.

This is in 2019 and if anything, shows that the exact same people were trying to drag us into a war then (and were probably busy leading the proxy war during Obama).

His point in that full exchange is that why would it be in America's best interest to side with the Ukraine in 2019 vs Russia? both are equally corrupt but a better relationship with Russia would seem to have far more benefits to the USA than a better relationship with Ukraine (which should be the primary measuring stick) - so if we have to choose, then choose Russia.

I cannot find anything particularly wrong with the logic of that, especially when he said it.

If nothing more than originality and longevity I think Browning stands apart. The follow ons had his examples to improve on after all.

The difference is that Russia is bombing the Ukraine and threatening NATO and the US. He'd have been better off not spouting some poorly thought out "rooting for Russia" nonsense just to be controversial.

Ironically, Trump brought in working class and minority voters to the GOP and the old GOP order turned their nose up. They want their donor class back. They cant as easily enrich themselves on working class populism.
Because they believed the commercial. No one has questioned his marketing ability but his leadership is terrible

Sort of since it usually only applies to handguns

choice is great. You're in favor of govt mandates
Sounds like you were in favor of the Biden administration encouraging corporations to enforce vaccine mandates. Which many did. Therefore you are in favor of corporate fascism and against individual rights.

And since you said nothing about the NYC mandates then I guess you really have no problem with government mandates.

Individual rights are more important than business rights.

I'm in favor of no mandates by govt. I'm not sure how your still confused about that. My positions on this are clear and on this board if you need to reread. Just making up random stances and ascribing then to me is lazy and ridiculous. You should stop that. Or don't, I really don't care anymore

Which party was pushing for forced vaccinations and vaccine passports? Which party strongly supported making restrictions on where people could go and what they could do if they weren't vaccinated? It was largely Republicans and conservatives who fought against vaccine mandates.

You guys lost Virginia due to your party's thirst for totalitarianism. And almost lost New Jersey.

If you really feel that way about what I've said then maybe you should stop making false statements about other people as well. I belive in small government but I don't believe in no government at all. And I believe individual rights are more important than business rights. You seem to believe business rights are more important than individual rights. There's a reason government entities like the health department and OSHA exist. And if one watches Don Dare then you'll understand why there has to be government entities monitoring what businesses are doing.

Nothing I've said is false. You openly support mandates from the govt about what people can or can't do with their business. They also dictate to local entities (boards, govt) what they can or can't do.

Nothing I've said is false. You support vaccine mandates which violate individual rights. So you are not for individual rights like you claim. In your mind Walmart is more important than the employees that work there and the customers who shop there.

Are you against OSHA and the health department? Since they are government entities that mandate what businesses can and cannot do. Are you against a federal minimum wage since they are telling businesses what employees have to be paid?

No one was pushing in any way for forced vaccinations. That is all. We're hijacking this thread.
