- in society there IS a level of importance and status that one carries for various reasons (wealth, intelligence, popularity, value, etc). Thus even though they are equal in God’s eyes, the President or a doctor or Jeff Bezos is more important than a rapist or a thief or a homeless man in that context for many reasons.
- in my position within my company, even though the CNA and janitor and doctor and myself all are important to work as a team for our goals, the CNA or janitor is not as skilled as a doctor, nurse, accountant or myself thus they don’t contribute to bringing in $ or training new employees or managing large complex departments on their own, thus they aren’t as “vital” thus make a lot less money because anyone can be trained to do those jobs with minimum skills.
- company man sounds like something from the 1920s Union BS but isn’t surprising coming from you. Yes I help my company make millions and run like a machine while helping thousands of patients each year. It’s my job and I do it well.
- I am not “for” vaccine mandates which is why we have exemptions for our employees like we had with flu shots before. It’s really not that big a deal. I do disagree with OSHA being used the way they were by Biden and the courts shut that down for the most part. But I also am for businesses having the freedom to run their business as they see fit. You have no right to tell a business what to do either.
- if you don’t have class envy, you sure don’t hide it well. You literally start whining that people don’t see a busboy or valet or janitor on the same level of a VP or CEO. You can respect those people without making it up that they are skilled and should be seen as equals in the corporate world
