According to polling (accurate polling, not the fake polls fake news media use), Trump is the most popular American politician currently...by far. 2020 was the most anomalous Presidential Election in modern history or it was a fraud, there is no other option. Every predictable metric showed Trump winning easily. So, you can drop the "nothing odd about him losing line".

Russia is right across the pond, and can hit us anytime they want. They will be annihilated in the process, but can get off a shot. On a normal day I would not say such a thing, but right now Russia could be taken with casualties if we actually wanted to. Luckily we don't act like Russia.

I don't know about all that, but Democrats were telling their voters to vote early or vote by mail. Trump was telling his voters that mail-in voting was terrible and that rather than vote early they should vote on election day so he could show an early lead. That tells me that he planned all along to lose the vote and have his lawyers try to throw out mail-in Democrat votes.

People were calling that out in advance, even on this forum.

It’s one thing to like and support Trump, but if you think he’s extremely popular and can’t conceive how he lost the election without fraud, you live in a bubble.

The point was - there was absolutely nothing surprising or odd about Trump losing in 2020.

This doesn't explain the bell weather County anomaly. Swing Counties that have accurately predicted many past elections. They swung Obama from Bush, from Obama to Trump and stayed Trump in 2020 (along with many previous elections before that). And for those saying, well it was anomalous because of how hated he was, he picked up the most votes of any incumbent President maybe in history and if it not in history, it was pretty damn high.
