CCM needs to tell him to find another school.CCM can find an athletic player but we need a guard that can shoot the ball.From what I have seen of Ware he cant shoot.

He's actually not top 50 on rivals, but at one point last season he was a fringe top 10 player before injuring his hand and not being able to hit the AAU circuit like he wanted. Those recruiting SPECIALISTS, they know nothing about HS recruits... How many 5* players do you want on the grid iron? Same philosophy son... You want an easy advantage on the competition? GET BETTER PLAYERS THAN THEY HAVE! If that doesn't work, you have to out coach them, and having comparable athletes that want to be coached up and become the best TEAM in college basketball and you have a winning formula.

Ware is every bit a top 50 player, and when all is said and done, whether he comes here or elsewhere, you'll all know him for more than someone who was a UT commitment that waivered when Bruce departed the Hill. Book it right beside that big fish smokin a doob with Brian Williams and Donald Trump...

No, he can't. Which makes me laugh at all the posters who are beside themselves that we aren't catering to this teenager's every need.

Rivals ranking him inside the top 60 is a joke.

JP had no shot... Rondo had no shot... Travis Leslie(til this season and only in spurts) didn't have a shot. Joakim Noah, Tyrus Thomas, and Chuck Hayes all think you are silly guys...

Ware has the athletic ability to get to the rim at will, and the handles to get him there. His jumpshot needs some work, but he has OFF THE CHARTS, FREAK OF NATURE ATHLETICISM... That is why he is ranked so high... Geez...

He is only ranked in the top 60 on one site. Rivals. Every other recruiting service has him barely in the top 100, which still isn't bad.

But, comparing him to Rondo or JP is premature to say the least, as both have very high basketball IQs. Most everyone else you mention is either a post player or Leslie.

I questioned Griffith about this and Griffith emailed me and said that he could of met with CJ off campus, I called BS. CCM said in his press conference that this Thursday was the first day he could hit the road recruiting. Who do you believe?

Not true - as a signee he could have met with chris jones off his campus ...

Have talked to ut compliance to double check rule

So if we were in a dead period where contact with recruits is not permitted and Ware has apparently had such contact with other programs, would that not impy that those programs have in fact cheated?

Then he's a complete moron. It's been published numerous places that Martin spoke to both him and Jones and told them both they would be the first recruits he visited after the dead period ended. I also read today where Martin will be visiting both this Thursday. They both know what they have been told and them saying they haven't heard from UT yet is simply BS. They both sound like attention wh___es.

Getting to the rim in high school is one thing but getting to the rim in college is another.Freak of Nature ? you got to be kidding me.Jordan Mcrae could get to the rim at will in high school and is a mid range shooter and I watched him play alot in high school and I have seen Ware play and Ware is no Mcrae.Dont get me wrong I would take him but he isnt worth all this.

If we get him back then that is good because I feel like his athletic ability gives him good potential down the road. But if you think there are only 49 better high school senior basketball players in the country than Ware then you are grossly overestimating his current abilities on the basketball court.

Honestly, I really think we need to move on and let Ware and Jones(if they could qualify) move on....Like Dane Bradshaw said, "How do we not know that CCM is doing this intentional" to see how they react...If that's the case---Both have failed miserably...think about it, would you want to spend two, three or more years with these guys the way they have handled this??? If so, wait for a couple of years...then hire them for your company...Won't happen with mine but you go ahead and built your company on these types of personality and we'll see you in bankruptcy court soon....Now, I feel better!!!
