Warlick should schedule UCONN

I don't think Holly knows enough about offensive basketball to compete with UConn...The LVs play mostly one on one offensive ball, and hope for rebound put backs, like in the old days, but UConn plays damn good offensive team ball. That is one of the keys to their great success...

The bad blood between the fan bases has been ridiculous for way to long of a time....I have nothing against UConn, they are a very good team, with outstanding coaching...Their fan base is a bit much sometimes, but that is usually a by product of great success....

Some of their followers enjoy how far our program has fallen, but all empires fall in time...They will know the other side of midnight when Geno retires...Their clock is ticking toward that day, while ours has stopped working with the passing of Pat.

A couple of years ago Baylor suddenly dropped Tennessee from its schedule in September after our schedule was finalized. Soon thereafter, Geno and Holly met at the WBHOF to kick off A fundraising campaign for Pat’s foundation. Holly offered the schedule opening to Geno as a way to re-establish the old rivalry. Gono’s response was that he would consider it if Tennessee would apologize to him, to UConn team, Maya Moore, and Maya’s mother. Holly said absolutely not. Geno later publicly said that he “didn’t care if he never played Tennessee again.” So, it ain’t going to happen, folks—unless it’s in the NCAA tournament.

"Tennessee would apologize to him, to UConn team, Maya Moore, and Maya’s mother. "

That is factually incorrect. He did not ask for a personal apology.

From the Dan Fleser article - "I asked him if he wanted to play," Warlick said. "He said he would if I apologized to his fans, former players, Maya Moore, her mother. I'm not going to do that."

Will these made-up stories ever cease. Concentrate on the Lady Vols getting better in the future instead of rehashing a false past. It’s posters like you who make this a negative forum. Get real!
