You're basically saying that our short people bring down our average height. What does it matter that we're heterogeneous and other countries are more homogeneous? All of our minorities are part of the whole.

If the objective is to find out 'why' - that is, what is different - then society cannot pretend there are no differences in culture, values, geography whether the subject is crime, education, income, etcetera. And whether the people are black, white, brown or yellow.

Slavery and discrimination arguments lose their impact along clear evidence of African, Asian, Hisp/Latino migrants who risk much to get here and then leave a too large subset of native born Americans in their dust. Are they and their predecessors who urged them to come too stupid to know their path is doomed by discrimination and white supremacy, so they achieve the impossible anyway? Of course not.

So why the disparity in outcome between pigmented immigrants and (too many) black Americans?

You mean to tell me that we enslaved a group for generations and then treated them as second-class citizens for subsequent generations, and then started waging wars on social issues to keep them down, and then that group is disproportionately incarcerated (many of which aren't even crimes that hurt people)? This is what people are talking about when they discuss critical race theory. America has to own all of it, buddy. You're not winning the argument with this racial comment. The point is that the incarceration rate shouldn't be this high.

Critical race theory has nothing to do with the things you mentioned above. And the fact that 13-14% of the population commits the majority of homicides in this country is an insanely relevant topic we should all be talking about if we ever wish to address it. Instead the left just pretends the problem is guns despite the white population owning the majority of guns

Ditto. My ancestors were quite the clan in Scotland circa AD1100-1300's.. One was killed by Robert the Bruce. The Brits are prob why we eventually ended up in the states by the late 1700's.

Traced my fathers side back to Scotland in 1200. The Gordon clan fought for Robert the Bruce receiving their own tartan and shield. Interesting history. Explains me wanting to moon people as a teen.
