Tressel is definitely not a big game flop artist. They're big game flop artists. Both coach in weak leagues, beating up on the Poor Sisters of their conferences then lay an egg when it counts. They get by with out-talenting their opponents. Then when it comes down to coaching they are playing with a short deck.
Yeah, but the roided up Nebraska teams as well as a much better Kansas State probably put that group over the top. I think Colorado was also better, and maybe a few other teams I can't remember right now.texas was mediocre 15 years ago. now they take every major texas recruit.
Fulmer hasn't been a coach since you've been a member of this site. You should let it go.
If you and OU are fine paying $5MM a year for turning out bunker crops of NFL talent with only Big12 titles to show for it then fine.
Beating the Baylor, A&M, Iowa St, and Tx Techs of the world should cost you around $1.5MM, and get you the same results.
I'll bet you'd be pissed if a coach with Peyton Manning, Leonard Little, Jamal Lewis, and Al Wilson had to backdoor his way into an SEC championship.
