I think TCU is in either way, granted there isn’t a blowout
😂 you still haven’t learned have you. Committee doesn’t follow their own rules. If they can get Bama and Ohio State in they will. It’s not about fair.

Bama winning the whole thing would be the most Tennessee thing ever.

They beat Texas and KState. Alabama’s best wins are Texas and Mississippi State. Combine having better wins with having 1 fewer loss, I don’t see any argument for Bama.

Some people just don’t get it.

It will not matter. The playoff teams are now set. The top 4 seedlings are all that’s on the line now.
Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't plan on Tennessee in. I also don't think they should, but neither should Bama so meh. Either way, whoever gets four gets blasted by Georgia.

If TCU loses it will be them. If they pull out the win then it’s OSU.

No way they put them in with a loss. They don't play anyone.
Who did Bama beat? Their best win was against Texas by with Texas' 2nd string QB.

TCU defeated KSU who will be ranked in the CFP Top 10.

TCU had close wins several other teams, but so did Bama ( Texas by 1 pt, a bad TAM at home by 4 with A&M at the goal line as time expired).

One loss TCU > 2 loss Bama.

And, does anyone think the committee wants 2 SEC teams vs 2 Big 10 teams in the playoffs?

Why is Bama ahead of us?

LSU beats UGA, LSU will get the Sugar bowl as SEC Champs NOT in playoffs. Bammer-Orange, we fall back to Cotton.

Maybe it jumps us up in front of Bama since we beat lsu and lsu beat Bama.

The committee is made up of people with ties to conferences. There are 2 committee members with Big 12 ties; they’re not going to vote Bama over TCU and jeopardize their conference’s payday.

Their SOS is better than UGA’s and UM’s. Y’all really need to stop posting this baseless drivel without looking into things. They already beat this #10 KSU team and beat #20 TX on the road more convincingly than Bama did (going against a backup QB mind you).
Perfectly said.

How is Alabama in front of us??? I just looked at their schedule. They have no wins to boast of .....zero. Their best win was the Ole Miss game.

I believe we can do it! If TCU goes down......giphy.gif

Of course, I also believe that Jon Gruden will be our next coach...so..........

Two simple guidelines would solve all this. You can’t move up on championship weekend if you don’t play. Simple as that. Winner of the conference championship game takes the ranking spot of its opponent if they are lower ranked. Thus, Utah would now be in the 4 spot. Then reseed the top four after the championship games. This would turn the conference championship games into ultra important elimination/advancement games. Essentially the first round of the playoffs. They’d now mean something again.

Under this scenario this year 5-8 would be out no matter what happened in the conference championships, since they weren’t playing.

Then the at-large NY6 bids are down to about 4 with TN, TCU, SoCal, UNC, Michigan, and LSU all wanting one.

Purdue, GA, KState, Utah, and Clemson take 5. UCF or Tulane takes a spot. Bama and Ohio State take 2 of the 6 at-large spots. 4 left to share with 6 or more candidates.
