Because I respect the hell out of Bama. The hate in our rivalry is fueled by respect on both sides. Plus, Bama fans were by far the most welcoming, gracious and pleasant fanbase I've ever encountered at an away game and that's the honest truth. After meeting some random Bama fans at our hotel the night before in '05 we tailgated with them all day and after looking all day for tickets we came back to the tailgate where they presented me and my buddy 2 free tix. Provided that we'd pay for the cokes during the game they'd provide the whiskey and that was our deal. After a hard fought 3-6 loss every fan I encountered was still gracious and not the least bit obnoxious. My hate for Bama dissipated that day.
