Now do the news mediaBecause we actually have numerous people on here, who have taken a Bill Gates quotes out of context, who now believe he wants to kill people. It’s like they believe in super evil geniuses. It’s broader line loony tunes. It’s also why we need to think hard about the internet. So much false info they buy into.
Pretty good summary.Saw this locally...glean from it what you will.
VERIFY: Digging into false claims part of Wayfair human trafficking conspiracy theory
Inaccurate pricing is the most logic reason, though.Pretty good summary.
Only problem I had with it was the statement about pricing.
In the video he says “incorrectly priced” contradicting the official statement from Wayfair of “accurately priced”

And the number of pricing mistakes, and the % of suspiciously named items with such pricing mistakes.Inaccurate pricing is the most logic reason, though.
Couch is 2,499.99 but someone gets a heavy finger and lists it as 24,999.99. Mistake is only noticed after the fact.
What doesn't make any sense, and I haven't heard an explanation, is why the products are named the way they are.
A typo like that doesn’t explain the original pricing also being extremely high.Inaccurate pricing is the most logic reason, though.

I think we saw some that were more than an extra digit.Inaccurate pricing is the most logic reason, though.

It might be a damning contradiction but it might also be just a confusion of language. I imagine that Wayfair doesn't set the price for vendors, just like Amazon. The vendor sets their own price and Wayfair probably deducts their fee from that price. So when he says it was "accurately priced", he might just mean that there wasn't an error on Wayfair's side of things. This is the price that came in through the vendor data feed.

Are there fees when working with Wayfair?
No. Wayfair doesn't take a percentage of our partners’ sales like other traditional e-commerce retailers. We operate on the wholesale cost model, meaning we pay our partners the wholesale cost of their items, and we set the retail price.
Good addition to the discussion.
Any ideas on the odd names of products/missing children?
For once, I hope you're right. It's suspicious, but sometimes these manufacturers literally have tens of thousands of sku's. These sku's are often given random names that people use. It's a pretty reasonable solution for mass naming products. The fact that some of these are oddly specific spellings of names raises red flags, however, we do see this in marketing where things are misspelled so that the name is more memorable.
So, the oddly unreasonable prices just happen to align with names of missing kids, and all of the items named after missing kids just happen to have unreasonably spiked prices? It's suspicious, but sometimes these manufacturers literally have tens of thousands of sku's. What's the Soros angle???So, the oddly unreasonable prices just happen to align with names of missing kids, and all of the items named after missing kids just happen to have unreasonably spiked prices?
And Wayfair sets the retail prices themselves.
And reports that Soros is a major owner in the company.
George Soros & Wayfair: Soros Owns a Large Portion of Wayfair, Who Funds Wayfair? | News Break
I sure do hope the FBI publish the outcome of their investigation.
I don't think he necessarily a suspected pedo. For deep state theorists, he's seen as one of the major bag-men for the deep state. he uses deep state money to fund deep state interests. I think that's the angle. What's the Soros angle???
He's like the bogeyman for Repubs. Is he a suspected pedo or something?
