It's almost like media's job is to clear things like this at all cost by just stamping "Debunked" on things. Seriously.

I mean, look how often gullible posters here reference link to prove something has been debunked, and they don't even read the articles to see what shallowness has been defined as "debunked".

FGS, snopes interviewed wayfair, asked them if they were child trafficking, and listed this as "False" based on wayfair's answer. Truly sterling investigative journalism.

Why not just set this up in a secret, dark web child trafficking network? Do you really think they'd traffick children through a really popular consumer website, and risk having the lid blown off their scheme by Reddit/4Chan sleuths?

Remember when Trump was cracking down on the southern border and Wayfair's girly men-boy employees didn't want to sell beds to the feds to house the families? Instead of having families sleep on beds they would rather not sell beds to the government. They are just reselling imported chinese crap anyways, they need to go away into the abyss of lousy companies that I will never do business with.

Not being condescending, but how much do you know about the dark web, ease of use by Joe Schmoe? And just how much expertise and energy is now aimed at the dark web by law enforcement and even corporations? Heck we (professionally) have an entire team dedicated to collecting OSINT from the dark web and social media.

IMO, your statement is akin to, "Why would drug smugglers use mules across public borders, in broad daylight? Surely they'd only dig tunnels!"

It’s not likely. At all.

But why the rush to dismiss it as an Internet hoax when none of us know what exactly is happening?

What if 3rd party sellers on Wayfair are doing something nefarious? Shouldn’t we all want to know that and have it stopped?

Money laundering seems likely. Wayfair should have caught this themselves if that’s what is happening.

Smuggling drugs in the kind of volume that they do is a little different than smuggling human beings. And the ones that get caught at the border are the ones they want to get caught anyway.

Aren't the buyers of trafficked children elite, extremely wealthy, powerful people? At least that's the theory I've heard. Joe Schmoe isn't buying trafficked kids. I'm pretty sure they could come up with more covert, harder-to-detect means than advertising $10k "cabinets" on a website.

Well, if you believe it's the elite, you believe the authorities are in their pocket, I guess. The worldview theory you're quoting there claims that the gov't, judges, the FBI, etc are in the elite's pockets. So, why not set it up. Q's entire schtick has been, "They thought they'd never get caught." It's been that the trump administration has had to clean the FBI and DOJ out.

I guess the way you filter possibilities will depend on your worldview.
