1. They're overrated, and bound to lose.. they will overlook us.

2. We have the best coaching staff in the SEC.

3. Neal/Lane and the OL will tear it up on offense, with big plays from North and Pig.

4. We will win the turnover battle.

5. We're Tennessee.

We definitely have a chance to win. It would be difficult, but anything can happen.

Would be nice, but let us not forget after the South Alabama game the consensus was Tennessee would not win again this year.

i love how people think we are crazy. bama is down this year, they are not as good as everyone thinks, i can't stand how some vol fans bow down to saban and the tide thinking they are all world, yeah we could get blown out , but all it depends on is how our team handles the win today and their play next week. we can't control that only they can. the coaches will have them ready it's up to them. i think we want it more than bama honestly.

coaches will start going to work tomorrow, they want this game. house money now, we got our big win for the year, we are bound to succeed expectations for the year now, it's all in on this game. wouldn't be surprised to see some onside kicks/fake punts.

1. Yeah, because they haven't won convincingly this year.

2. Great point, Saban ONLY won 4 NCs.

Can we win? Sure, every game starts 0-0, and this team is improving, that said I think we can and will play with Alabama but they have us beat with talent, Butch may be able to out couch an aging Spurrier but I assure you Saban will not be pushed over so easily.

AJ goes out on the first drive. Then HAHA goes out second drive.

Then lighting hits the field and burns a big UT on top of the A.

Butch Jones walks out onto the symbol and yells into the stands...."It HAS BEGUN!"

After that, the rest will be rumor and speculation as the lighting had oddly knocked out all video of everything. Stories will be told but the only thing that will be known for a fact is that Bama got dey azz whipped. 37-3.

We've made huge strides in the past month , but we couldn't hang with Bama's 2nd team for 4 qtrs yet. USCe and UGA are almost guaranteed to flop for one reason or another when the spotlight is on them every year and they were right on schedule. Give us a couple good recruiting years and some reasonably good fortune, and we'll be ready to go toe to toe with them.

I disagree. I think we will compete with Alabama next Saturday. I don't know if we will win, but I think our team has shown in the last few weeks that we can compete with almost anyone.

I have an uncle who is an avid BAMA fan, all his life. He called right after the game and said the BAMA - TN rivalry was back. He was really impressed with TN.

We had a worse coaching staff in 2009 and we almost beat Bama. Had Lincoln made that field goal, we would have given Bama their only loss of the season. They won the National Championship that season.

Although, I don't predict that we will win, but we have a better chance this season than we did in 2009.

Not sure I agree with that yet but I was sure as hell glad to watch Kiffin crash and burn this season! :dance2:
