Last year I said we should go 10-2 after the first game. And that's exactly what happened. Now I'm calling my shot once again. I think this team has the talent to win it all. After seeing Georgia, Ohio State, and Alabama, none of their squads scare me. We have as many future Sunday players in our 2-deep as they do.

No excuse for Huepel and the boys. Anything short of winning the national championship will be a failure.

Yet another one of your ridiculous and utterly brainless posts. Dude just give it up. You have no clue. We aren’t beating UGA. That defense will eat us up yet again. So when we don’t win the NC are you gonna do your little spoiled act like you used to? You know when you said you didn’t watch TN football because they were not any good? Or are you gonna trash the staff and players like you did Dobbs and company on 2016? Just do us all a favor and not post anymore. We don’t need fans like you.

To the first 2 posters, both of you are wrong. Yes we are a team capable of playing and beating anybody. But anything can happen in football and we could have a fantastic season and come up just short and that would not be failure. Good grief this is just Heupel’s 3rd year and how quick we forget where we were. But on too the second poster that said matter of fact we would not beat Georgia. I can’t stand fans to make matter of fact comments like that. Anybody that knows anything about major college football knows that when 2 talented teams tangle anything can happen. Could we possibly win it all? Absolutely! Could we stumble and lose a few tight ones or lose one we shouldn’t? Absolutely! That is why you play the game and how our season goes depends on us taking one game at a time and staying focused and catching good brakes and making big plays. But this is not national championship or failure. Now let’s go get em one game at a time! GBO!!!!!

Well I'm not conceding the Georgia game.

Dude, please speak for yourself. I’m fine with someone wanting to post their opinion and predictions on a message board. I’m not okay with you belittling them and telling them not to post anymore or that we don’t need them.

I need to see a better Milton at Florida before thinking we have a chance at beating Bama or Georgia.
It was game 1. He calmed down and was spot on. If he still gets silly and throws any flat and high missles against AP this Saturday, then be concerned. Everyone wants to talk about the misses, but forget he threw with a 70% completion rate. He threw 2 TDs and rushed for 2. You could tell that the entire team had the jitters including the coaches. CJH even mentioned it in the post game presser.

You are belittling the OP for changing his tune and belittling the team at the end of a season all the while belittling them and writing off the season after game 1. This must be another of your posts that fit into the same category.

Great comments. Didn’t Prime Time prove anything can happen?

Anyone who thinks this team isn’t good enough to win is kidding themselves. If they come out calm and collected from the first whistle, Jojo throws for over 300 yards and easily another td (Keyton dropped a TD). If that had happened, the Heup train would be barreling down the tracks at warp speed rn.

Amen. Especially when they lay down that “absolutely won’t beat Georgia” drivel. If they truly feel like that, why bother watching.

I’d rather read a positive post like OP than some Eeyorean post like the second.

EDIT: However, saying that “anything less than a Natty is a failure” is equally ridiculous.

We will be underdogs against Georgia. But we will have a reasonable chance of winning that game.

Nobody thought we would beat Bama last year either, probably you included. And how did that work out??
