Despite losing the game I am surpirised we didn't walk away with a couple of injuries as well. In year's past it has been us that have had big injuries in this series. Here is a look at some of the players that were hurt in the game Saturday...

Driskell-QB- out for season
Purifoy-CB- Leg contusion
Poole-DB- Targeting Penalty-Suspended for first half
Garcia-OL- Questionable for Sat.

And now they are saying DL Easley may have torn his ACL...

It is a good thing Florida has Kentucky this week for their sake...

We did them a favor at the QB position.

Just want to point out I'm not bragging or happy with Driskell getting hurt, just that performance wise they looked a lot better without him.

Easley did it in practice this week, so we didn't have much to do with that. Plus Poole pretty much did that to himself.

You giving UT credit for Easley injuring his knee at practice yesterday?

No I wasn't, that is why I separated it from the rest. But I failed to clarify that he did it at practice...

Please ignore the other thread, my computer duplicated the thread for some reason.

Mods please delete other thread.

This is what Easley tweeted earlier today...

Gatornation thank you for all 4 yrs of sticking with me but god has something else planned for & have no worries"

Sounds like a farewell statement.

Hate to see people get injured but UK has got to take advantage of the situation. I wouldn't be surprised to see Florida run for 200+ yards on us though. They're still a good team.

Yep. Same principal applies as when my wife opens a jar that I "loosened" for her.

Tiny Richardson loosened that ligament. That's just science!

Seriously, though, hope Easley has a quick recovery. Love watching him play against anyone but us.

I know we lost Randolph for the season last year against Florida, and Hunter for the season in 2011. Both were non-contact, too. Maybe we are just due for a break. The football gods have to be bored with torturing us at some point. Maybe?

I don't think their backup is going to fare as well against - LSU, Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia.

We have a tendency to make the Matt Maulk's of the world look like world beaters. The other SEC teams will keep him contained much better imo.

We did kick that azz - for Florida. Much like the year we lost Justin Hunter and Bray - Florida is going to suffer with those losses imo. When they can't pass and everyone loads the box they will be wishing they had a healthy Driskell imo.

I sure hope Vols fans aren't gloating over the UF injuries, First, it's always awful for a young man to be injured and possibly losing his chance to make a significant income after college. Second, our experiences with injuries, especially key injuries should if anything make us very sympathetic to other teams who endure the same. If any are gloating, be darn careful, karma is not only a beetch, she's a finicky soulless beetch.

Umm, you realize they have owned Georgia about as much as us, don't you? Though Georgia has won 2 in a row now.
