We did a number on Florida....

Wouldn't be surprised of Kentucky best Florida sadly.

They actually didn't look terrible against Louisville.

KY beating Florida would be good for us. A miracle win over Georgia and a Florida loss opens up the east.

You giving UT credit for Easley injuring his knee at practice yesterday?

You see, he thought he was flash with how fast he was getting into our plays. He simply thought all teams were as slow as us. He was wrong and knocked knees.

Our slowness is what caused him an injury.

Ah Thank Ya!:hi:

I know we lost Randolph for the season last year against Florida, and Hunter for the season in 2011. Both were non-contact, too. Maybe we are just due for a break. The football gods have to be bored with torturing us at some point. Maybe?

Until we make amends with Fulmer and Chavis the curse remains. Someone catch and fry a virgin chicken....preferably with Champy's spices.

my pt is we play em when theyee healthy, and rest of sec has a better shot at em when theyre banged up.

course this year they coulda fielded a team of practice dummies and wed have found a way to lose

i don't know who some of you are kidding.

this was the most beat up a florida football team has been in september that i can ever remember.

it was a mash unit on the field for the tennessee game and it's a bigger mash unit now.

odds are except for the people who are out for the season (which may be up to 3 starters now), florida will be healthier in october and november than they are right now.

Despite losing the game I am surpirised we didn't walk away with a couple of injuries as well. In year's past it has been us that have had big injuries in this series. Here is a look at some of the players that were hurt in the game Saturday...

Driskell-QB- out for season
Purifoy-CB- Leg contusion
Poole-DB- Targeting Penalty-Suspended for first half
Garcia-OL- Questionable for Sat.

And now they are saying DL Easley may have torn his ACL...

It is a good thing Florida has Kentucky this week for their sake...

Not trying to be a smart a$$, but are you implying we intentionally tried to hurt these players? I think it's just football. Never want to see anyone get hurt, whether it be the Vols or the opposition.

I think he's just saying there's a lot of bad luck lately for the gators.

Last season, we took Marcus Latamore out for the remainder of the season....

Maybe some of those Cajuns can cripple up some of those bull dogs Saturday so when we play them our chances improve..

Big difference in guys being hurt and severely injured. You want them to be hurt. Driskel and lattie were not hurt.

Not saying anything about you just quoting it so folks can see the difference. You want to bring pain but not serious injury.

I noticed Easley slowed down in the second half...or maybe he wasn't out there.

We did the Gators a solid by allowing Murphy to ascend to the starting position. That will only make them better on offense. Kid looks like a well-tanned Connor Shaw out there! And if they don't like him, we can arrange a trade. lol
