Anyway, it will be interesting to see these 2 match up this year.
In your case, a UGA fan, you will shout out.."Gurley owned AJ and picked up 20 yds"
In my case, I will shout out.."AJ stopped Gurley again".....doubt much will be said about that.

It's nothing against AJ, but Gurley is just a different kind of talent. There's a reason why he will leave for the NFL after this year.

Yep...Gurley's a NFL caliber running back that will go in the 1st round.
AJ is not a NFL caliber running back. He is an NFL caliber linebacker that will go in the 1st round. Both are talented.
They play different positions. RB's get much more attention at that talent level than standout LB's.

OU wore down on both sides of the ball. Tennessee was a much better conditioned team. All 125 yards came in the last quarter. Vols beat the Dawgs if they keep it close into the 4th.

Again, I like AJ, I really do. There's no way AJ would have come back if he were a first round talent. He probably did not get a good NFL grade after last season, just speculation on my part.

AJ needed to come back to raise his draft stock. That much is obvious. However, he's seemed a lot faster this year and I think it's due to a better S&C program, and all of the players being more involved in it. I think had he gone last year he would've been 3rd or 4th round. I think this year after showing the improvement he has, he'll be 1st or 2nd round. Gurley will obviously be 1st round. I just think Johnson's reasoning for coming back had to do with more than just his draft stock, and also to do with his love for UT. Showing out like he has so far can't hurt obviously.

Okay, well I don't see any advantages at any positions but WE ARE knocking on the door. I would be extremely surprised if we get STOMPED. I expect this to be closer than what some are thinking. Really our defense has a very straight forward challenge, stop gurley and win your matchups in the secondary. Although Gurley still had a good game against USCe I do think they showed us how to limit his long runs (Something that we are capable of) Our offensive line will NOT turn into all stars over 2 weeks, BUT I do expect to see major improvement. I expect them to be practicing with much more intensity and a higher level of urgency after being exposed. They know whats coming now, and they know where their going to need to improve. They didnt know that necessarily before the Ok game. So yes, if we play disciplined, expect a close game.
