We the People Will Build the Beautiful Steel Slat Barrier

Wasn't the narrative that hillary didn't send in more "people", thus causing the death of Americans? I don't recall the final report ever mentioning a bigger better wall could have prevented this.

And a wall on the border won’t stop every single immigrant from getting here but it will stop a large majority of them. But I guess if a few get over there’s no use in stopping the rest. And I’m pretty sure the ones that survived Benghazi were damn sure proud of the wall they had. But we didn’t save all of them so by your logic their wall completely failed its intended purpose.

At a very minimum it’s one less thing to worry about and will allow better policing of the other issues

I like how you post without real facts. That wall there was what, maybe 12 foot high? And there was gates that allow vehicles to come and go which was the weakest part. Not to mention a huge group shooting mortars, throwing grenades and using AK 47s.

There was alot of mistakes made that had nothing to do with a wall. It was who was in charge and making the decisions.

Not really. Once a wall is erected the maintenance and monitoring becomes just as much of a nuisance.

NYT Podcast The Daily on Friday had an interview with a Sheriff that works along the border (I think in Arizona) explain it pretty well. He supports Trump’s efforts to help harden the border but wishes the talking point would move away from the wall being the answer.

How much maintenance do you think a wall/fence will need? Lol. Typical to over embellish a potential issue that will almost assuredly be a non issue. For every sheriff like that there’s probably 10 border agents that would love a barrier.

I don’t know but I’ll concede to the law enforcement officer with over 30 years of experience.

Isn’t that how this works?

China has a wall. And it's been around for centuries and it's even a World Heritage Site.
Maybe our's will be loved by so many centuries from now.

Man behind 'Build the Wall' GoFundMe has reportedly made a potentially lucrative contact list thanks to a shadowy email-harvesting operation

Brian Kolfage, the veteran who created the GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the wall, now has a potentially lucrative list of emails thanks to the fundraiser, according to NBC News.

NBC News reported that Kolfage, who was associated with websites that published false stories and had pages shut down by Facebook, claims to have gathered 3.5 million email addresses through his border wall campaign.

NBC News, which spoke to former employees and looked at public records, reported that Kolfage has repeatedly created GoFundMe campaigns and published inflammatory fake stories pushed from websites that are allegedly associated with him. Through those online avenues, he has harvested email addresses of people who may be willing to donate to conservative causes.

Well, he was appealing to the most gullible and easily manipulated among us. You know, the Trump voter.

Tourist destination for sure. Maybe by then Americans will make the pilgrimage to the north side of the Great Wall of Trump, kiss it, say thank god I'm safe and free.

Then why don’t you concede to the CBP agents who keep saying they want the wall?

I’m not opposed to barriers in strategic places where they make sense. Neither are Dems in Congress. They have offered money for such and Trump has turned it down.

Trump doesn’t really care about border security or he would drop the debate about a physical wall. He wants to keep this battle going to keep the rubes fired up.

So guys scattered out over a thousand miles are a better deterrent than a physical barrier? Lol get real. Asking for less than 1% of the federal budget to shore up the border isn’t much in the grand scheme. Dims are playing their typical politics and how many have flip flopped on the issue simply because of TDS?

What’s the line the kids say from the old anti drug commercials? “I learned it by watching you”
