Anybody willing to go on record before the fact?

I'll start. I think it is a gross abuse of power and far removed from the intent of "declaring a national emergency".

Sounds a lot like Obama's EOs used to o around Congress. Were you ok with those? Maybe it's one of those ends justifies the means things?

So you're not wishing to answer the question? Do you think Trump would be right in declaring a national emergency?
Obama overused and abused EO's, but not nearly to the degree that has Trump. Do you agree?

Declaring a national emergency will certainly get everybody's attention and maybe get Congress off of their collective asses to finally do something about our broken immigration system. Nothing else seems to be suffcient to motivate them, because all we get is posturing and blathering while the problems continue unabated.

No I don't agree. Obama was the undisputed king of EOs. If we have another 10,000 people headed our way with intent of over running the border, I absolutely believe it's a national emergency.

List of United States federal executive orders - Wikipedia

Obama signed fewer EO's per year than every president since Grover Cleveland. Trump has signed more per year than any president since Reagan. (check out the data)
Maybe you meant to say that Obama was the King of not signing EO's.

Nashville? No, we used to do shows every year. There was a show in Louisville dedicated solely for Houseboats but 2008 wiped out so many manufacturers that they quit having it in 2011. It's a very expensive endeavor to put one of these boats in a show, usually about $20-$30K by the time you pay for the space, pay to have it transported to and fro, assemble and disassemble, pay staff to man it, promotional materials, and travel expenses for the crew. Back in they hay days, it was worth it. Not so much now. Also, we only build custom boats so we have to have a customer willing to allow us to divert their boat, which is usually not difficult because we add features that they don't have to pay for. But, you have to have the right boat to use and the last several boats we've build were too big to use in a show, especially Knoxville or Nashville. We're currently building a 19'X80' and there is no way we could get that in Nashville or Knoxville.

Obama has 276 and our POTUS has 91. All of that is hypothetical untill we get to year 8 of Trump and then see his total.


And while it just lists the count Obama used one for his pathetic healthcare tax bill.

None of that changes the fact that Obama signed fewer per year than any president since Grover Cleveland, and to date Trump is signing more than every president since Reagan.

Understandable, this was the first time in years that they had a houseboat at the show.

But, if Obama can use it to shove the healthcare tax bill down our throat because it wasn't going to get passed with the abortion language in it I have no problem with Trump doing it for a wall.
