Yeah they squeaked by a mediocre Penn St (Kentucky) team today while we completely stole our opponent’s soul. Somehow Ohio St will be #1, Georgia #2, and Tennessee #3. Honestly wouldn’t be shocked if they had us #4 and Michigan #3 with all the Big 10 biases.You guys fail to remember the tremendous support for OSU in the media. It’s almost insurmountable.
Maybe in the AP. But the CFP will have us #1. The CFP doesn't take preseason hype into account like the AP. If it wasn't for us starting the year unranked, we would have been the #1 team in the country for weeks by now. We have the best win of any team thus far this season and a far stronger strength of schedule.
Tennessee will be #1. Georgia will be #2.

And I agree that the weight a pre season poll has at this point in the season is kind of dumb. Stats and analytics don't lie. The algorithm could be biased, but I believe they are made to try to remove bias.
