wasn't it wet and rainy in Vanderbilt last year when Milton and company destroyed them?

Negative ninnie post are rampant....maybe we should cancel game .......accuracy issues or high velocity ball harder to adjust to? Hope coach knows what he is doing....oh my(no blue font y'all)
C'mon dude, we just had a below expectations game and Joe is ONLY on 4-0 w/out int streak that's PLENTY enough reason for the Legion šŸ„ Corps to start marching in place.

Different kind of "wet and rainy" in Gainesville. Gonna be hot/muggy and cramps will likely be a big issue.
Agreed it will be muggy.

But not that hot. Especially not for Florida in the late summer.

High that day will be 85. Low that night will be 71. And much of that temperature drop will come as a result of the afternoon storms.
Wouldn't surprise me if the temp is in the high 70s at game time, dropping to very pleasant (if still somewhat muggy) a half hour later when the sun goes down.

Go Vols!

I agree that rain would benefit us, but Accuweather is currently projecting around a 20% chance of rain during the game time.
Weather Underground is showing the same and partly cloudy. Shows a good chance of thunderstorms in the early afternoon. Hope we don't have a weather delay.

I just took a look at the weather forecast for Saturday evening in Gainesville. It looks pretty likely we will be playing in the rain. I think this would be to our advantage in a couple of ways.

1) Our run game has looked very good this year. I think a wet, sloppy game would benefit us more than Florida.

2) Crowd noise. The crowd won't be nearly as involved if it's pouring down.

Just my $0.02šŸ˜
So weā€™ve been having trouble with drops and inaccurate passes, and you think rain would benefit us.. smdh

The weather channel so showing the rain will stop by 6 and it will be partly cloudy by game time. Hopefully that will be the case.

Stop putting Milton stats up here when 90% of his completions are behind the line of scrimmage. Ya'll sound like JG supporters.

a completion is a completion. Whether or not its behind the line of scrimmage or 50 yards downfield. Thats the way the stats work my friend.

Right. Which is why context is important. Throwing a bunch of bubble screens out of necessity against an FCS team is not quality qb play.
It was working so why change it? Austin Peay's defense was playing 2 high safetys and absolutely taking the deep ball away. On top of that we were having protection issues. The only way you solve this is to get the ball out quick. Does Joe need to get it together YES. But Saturday's performance isnt all on Joe.

The weather forecast it not as bad for the evening. Only 25% chance of rain and the wind gusts are only 6mph per AccuWeather as of Thursday night.
Most of the rain is forecast for earlier in the day.
pretty sure it rained in the vandy game last year, and he did just fine.

70% chance of showers and storms. Hopefully it clears out for the evening or weather delays will be inevitable.
