Shades of the Florida game in the pouring rain at Neyland Stadium when Heath Shuler was the quarterback.

That is the last time we dominated them as well. However I think it was raining in 2002 and Clausen couldn't handle snaps. Casey never beat the Gators in Neyland....but he beat them twice in the Swamp. Remember that hail mary at the end of the first half?

I just took a look at the weather forecast for Saturday evening in Gainesville. It looks pretty likely we will be playing in the rain. I think this would be to our advantage in a couple of ways.

1) Our run game has looked very good this year. I think a wet, sloppy game would benefit us more than Florida.

2) Crowd noise. The crowd won't be nearly as involved if it's pouring down.

I was there, and we had so much fun! It was raining so hard 2 to 3”/hr rates. Everyone treated it like a pool party!!!

Higher humidity lessens air density, at the same temp and pressure. Molecular weight of air is 29, for H20 its 18.

I was also there. One of the best bowl games we layer Orlando Pace had a tough time against our offense.
