Web Censorship and Political Bias

If an individual doesn't want to see his tweets then block him or don't follow him.

He's the President of the United States! I'm betting Twitter wouldn't censor the President of China or Putin!

Likewise, if an individual--let's say Donald Trump--is unhappy with a service he has freely chosen to use, he is also free to stop using it and choose any number of alternatives to convey his message.

We've been over this ITT a number of times. Section 230 does not state that companies, such as twitter or facebook, must remain unbiased or as a wholly neutral conduit for its users communications. In fact, it explicitly allows for them to remove content which they deem offensive.
Then they should be able to be sued

So much for personal responsibility I guess. What happened to the GOP anyway? It wasn't that long ago that y'all were saying "if a baker won't make you a cake find another baker." Now this.
I don't represent the GOP. Equating personal responsibility to the comparison of a big tech firm and a small business is moronic and imo intentionally misleading. Like you said though, the section 230 thing's been discussed ad nauseam.

You want the government to step in and compel a business to bend to your wishes rather than having to choose another service. Seems pretty similar to the cake issue to me. The amount of people who use the service doesn't change the principle of the matter--you're either in favor of businesses being able to control their own services and property or you aren't.

Tell me more of what I want. Im learning so much.

If I'm misrepresenting you then by all means let us know why you think twitter ought to be held liable for content that its users provide.

Usually people provide supporting arguments for what they say ought to be the case if they want to convince someone else. But you do you.
Thanks coach for allowing me to do that

Facebook Insider Ryan Hartwig: The Company Allowed Users to Demonize Whites, Men, Cops

Facebook whistleblower Ryan Hartwig, who lifted the lid on Facebookโ€™s pattern of bias and censorship against conservatives in a series of videos for Project Veritas, joined Rebecca Mansour and John Hayward on Sirius XMโ€™s Breitbart News Tonight on Thursday.

Hartwig revealed that Facebookโ€™s content moderation policies became more biased during his two years at the company, with exceptions in Facebook policy being made for left-wing users who use the platform to demonize the police or white males.

โ€œThereโ€™s definitely a lot of bias, [and] it wasnโ€™t just the content moderators, itโ€™s the policy itself thatโ€™s biased and rigged against conservatives.โ€
