Congrats to Westbrook. I wasn't expecting Tennessee.. but I think she made a great decision in the end. I look forward to being able to follow her career up close and personal since she's in the SEC. Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't Tennessee's "Oregon pipeline" that sold Westbrook on Tennessee, in fact, that connection was actually working against Tennessee originally. (source)

OAN: I always knew this was going to be a really good class for Tennessee, but I didn't expect it to be this good. It's already a stellar class with Westbrook, Kushkituah and Hayes.. it could be extraordinary with Davis or Onyenwhere.. but ya'll could blow everybody out of the water if both decided to commit. Wow.

This is what ladies college basketball is about. You must have a strong TN team as well as a strong UCONN team battling for supremacy. Ladies and gentleman, if Diamond and Mercedes stay for there final seasons of eligibility, its going down. TN will be in the NCAA finals in 2017-2018 Season. You heard it from me, first!!! Baylor, Ohio State, Texas, Louisville, ND and South Carolina will be loaded also, but TN will have a season to remember next year, the pieces are now in place. Russell, Green, Harris and KK at the 4 and 5. Diamond, Dunbar, Nared at the 3. Jackson, Middleton, Cooper, Westbrook and Hayes at the 1 and 2 WOW!!!! If we add Davis and Onyenwere we will be in the hunt for a NC title the next 3yrs!!!

They are both uniquely good... Davis has a great offensive all around game with a consistent 3 point shot. She is long and quick and finishes at a high level.

Onyenwere has a better defensive reputation. I think she projects more as a forward versus wing to start her college career. She is more gifted athletically IMO with Nneka O like rebounding abilities. But her offensive game is expanding fast. I've seen the most of the top players play multiple times at Rennia and Michaela are easily top 6 or 7 to me.

Both of them probably have the highest ceiling in terms of potential in the 2017 class.

She said she decided this past Monday. The Tennessee visit she couldn't get out of her head and left a lasting impression. She didn't let any of the Tennessee coach's know .... they were told to watch via Facebook live. 😀

I made a comment the other day about how Holly would not get any top notch recruits. Boy, was I wrong. Now if she can find an offensive coach to get this thing turned around maybe she will keep her job. I hope so.

Same here, sure didn't see this one coming. Gotta hand it to the staff, this class is a nice response to last year's debacle. This team sorely needs good guards and quality young talent and it looks like the class will fill that need...
