I know you're a big fan, but dude ain't gonna outthink anyone. He's a younger Zook to me.

Ding, ding, ding... winner.

I have never in my life witnessed a dumber move then what Auburn did this season. True, it was epic fail for Tubs to go to the spread but that is a decision that could have been fixed. Tubs has proven that he can compete with the best in the SEC. Auburn paid over five million to trade down in coaches.

Can the powers to be rename CLK as "coach in waiting" and hire Tubs?......

or??

Getting rid of Fulmer was so knee jerk on Tennessee's part, they deserve to waller in mediocrity for a long time.

You may not like the change but it was not knee jerk. Auburn is in a sheer panic because of what Saban has accomplished (knee jerk). Mediocrity had been the theme under Fulmer for some time now.

Tennessee hadn't had an SEC championship or BCS bowl in 10 years.

Auburn went 14-0 and to a BCS bowl (with an SECC) 4 years ago. Tubberville is a fine coach.

Strange. ESPN Radio just reported, again, that Will Muschamp will be named Auburn's new head coach some time today.

Word out of Austin's media, as of a few minutes ago, is that he is staying. Of course thats possibly not the most objective reporting.

I don't think he's going to go. Better money at Auburn, but thats the only reason to make the move.

This is strange.... My AU buddy has thrown his hands in the air too. He claims AUAD and Will are meeting again today. Who knows.... I'm just glad we got ours!!

Muschamp is pissed about these rumors. He absolutely went off on some reporters and said they were trying to ruin he and his family.

Is he psychotic? How would these rumors ruin his family?

This sort of stuff comes with the territory. If he's telling the truth, and not going to Auburn, then he's got nothing to worry about. This will all blow over in a few days.

SOS needs to go to AU and Muschamp needs to go to USCjr because he is already a co**, I mean cocky....

Dan Patrick reported (radio) that the job was Will's on Wednesday but there were some language issues in the contract. He wanted to report directly to the President, not the AD! Also said he wants the same deal as Saban!

Smart move right there.

At auburn, as head coach, Muschamp better tone down the wild crazy man routine he uses as D-coordinator, and quit getting angry about some question in a press conference, or he will not last in the SEC.

For an unproven commodity? Never going to happen.

His wife hates Auburn. Maybe he thinks she'll leave him if he goes there?

He is psychotic.

After reporting it all day, as if it were a done deal, ESPN radio is now retracting its story that Muschamp will be announced as the head coach at Auburn.
