you gotta give Billy D a lot of credit...he's hanging in the SEC race (early on at least). Not many cocahes can say that after they lose their best 6 players in one yr.

They look better every outing. If memory serves we have to play at their place in one of the last games of the sec season. That could be a tough one.

Yes, it is UF's last home game. No seniors though. Look at the bright side - I'll be there!

That was a mistake. I really think Ole Miss should have taken the lay-up, if they are missing their FTs.

The game @Gainesville is a way off too... that could easily be one of our few SEC losses (hopefully few). The team is going to get better and better as the SEC schedule goes on.

I don't think Florida was as good as the score in the end though. Ole Miss had a lot to do with that. I'd say Ole Miss is atleast 10 points better than Florida on most occasions.

Yeah, the Rebels have been getting big leads lately and then letting the other team back into the game at the end.

Ole Miss is going to have to close games better. That's three straight they've wobbled down the stretch. However, not unexpected. That's a really young backcourt.

good point...Ole Miss seemed to have trouble with Fla. half court press at the end...too many mishandled balls and T/Os

Hat, how do you see Saturday Night's Main Event at the O'Dome shaking out?
For morbid curiosity purposes, it's the best game of the weekend. If Kentucky loses, their season is over. Even with an upset over Tennessee, Ole Miss, or Arkansas, their resume can't stand anymore losses to middling teams. It'll be totally dependent on pace. If the game stays in the low '70s or below, it's Kentucky. Anything over that, Florida delivers the knockout punch.

I agree with all but the KO. Realistically, you're probably right. But, with the SEC so watered down this year, if UK loses Saturday but scores such an upset, it's not inconceivable for them to finish 11-5 in the SEC, supposing, for example, two losses to UT and one loss each to MSU, UF, and Vandy. That would be 17-12 overall with the SEC Tourney to go. So, if UF wins, I think UK will be barely standing up against the ropes, but not knocked out...yet. :)

nice to see the kiddies battle back when down on the road....on the other hand it'll be nice to not see them keep getting in a hole like that

If KY loses this weekend, their only hope of going to the NCAA tourney is by either losing maybe two other games in the SEC season and making a deep run in the SEC tourney, or winning the SEC tourney. Their resume thus far just screams NIT.
