everytime Ole Miss missed a f/t in the last 5 minutes, i thought Andy Kennedy was going to pass out.

good game for both teams. FL impressed me a little bit, and billy d can coach folks. Ole Miss just a little too much for 'em right now, and they probably should have won by 8 or so.

but if FL plays with that kind of effort night in and night out, they'll be fine.

If KY loses this weekend, their only hope of going to the NCAA tourney is by either losing maybe two other games in the SEC season and making a deep run in the SEC tourney, or winning the SEC tourney. Their resume thus far just screams NIT.

If KY goes, say, 11-5 in the SEC, with at least a couple of SEC Tourney wins, they may be able to sway the committee with the injuries they've had and the name on the front of the jersey. That would make them 19-13. Technically, their resume currently screams "not eligible for NIT." :) They are 7-8.

the result ended up close and that's cute, but Ole Miss was clearly the better team. Coaching didn't keep it close as much as FTs.

well wouldn't you call it good coaching to start fouling a not so good f/t shooting team that early? the result being the misses and consquently FL still being in it?

agree that Ole Miss was the better team overall, and by all rights should win that game most nights. but i thought FL did exactly what they had to do to give themselves a chance. and Billy did do a good job of coaching....

fair enough. FWIW, Jerry Green or Wade Houston could have come to the conclusion that Donovan did.
