Frankly, if you believe UK's status as defending champ or a top 5 all time program will carry any weight you are not very smart. Save the conspiracy theories knuckleheads and educate yourselves...there are plenty of examples of basketball's blue bloods being left out when on the bubble. You really think the committee is invested in such infinitesimally small marginal differences in ratings or attendance? That's just dumb
knowing how the ncaa operates, wouldn't put it past them
OK...help me understand how putting kentucky in the ncaa tournament helps the
What does the ncaa have to do with the selection committee? Are you saying that they are going to secretly come in and make a.presentation on sunday? "Psst...hey guys, wink wink...take a good look look at UK and they'll be something special for you?" If so, really an embarrassing argument. Why the F does a committee member vote UK in over a team he feels is better. Conspiracy theories like this are for fools...don't be one.
This is how the world operates. Don't be niave. Think about notre dame football.
I don't believe that they are going to put Ky in over a team with a much better resume. I do believe that if they are down to their last spot and have four teams with resumes that are pretty equal that Kentucky gets the nod.
And for what it's worth, Kentucky would not make a "small" difference in attendance. However, that wouldn't concern the committee.
I asked a simple question.."how would that work?" Tell me how UK might impact attendance at a venue since you think it is a large factor and secondly, why would a committee member put in uk over a more deserving team? Simple questions.
