And who says that Gruden ask'ed for a long term deal, where's the proof..Gruden wanted no part of the Vols after Fulmer and Kiffin so why now. Its just to hard to believe all these post are true, and have seen no real proof to the taking. Nor have we heard on any other interviews have taken place..were still a over a week away

Thank you! Nobody on this website has clue as to who Hart is looking at or what deals he has offered to potential head coaches.

I am looking to get excited about other coaches below Gruden now. If he comes I will be very excited but if he doesn't we can still land someone as good a definitely more proven. I like Mora Jr., Roman, and Petrino. Stoops maybe if it's realistic, I doubt it. Truthfully, yet unpopular here, I think Petrino is the best lock for instant wins with less talent. His recruiting, especially now, is his biggest liability.

I will assure you that, like Dykes, Petrino has an exactly 0%
chance of being the next HFC at UT.

Then that's our mistake, he will be hired by someone and he will win.

What's he going to tell those parent's of that recruit??? I'm a idiot but trust me with your son???? It's to soon for him after what he did. We would be laughing stock of football and every coach would use that against us!!!! no no no. No way CP coaches here!!!

He'll win for about six months, then something else will come up and he'll inform the school of his resignation by leaving a note on the AD's door.

Really? Cam Newton's dad was bartering his son. There is a reason so many of these athletes are head cases. You over estimate the moral ethic of some of these parents.

the first 9 threads were fun,but with the season over now and the FF
morons coming in here now,I think I'll stick to the Cliff's Notes Version...

waaaaaaay too much BS flowing in from people who never posted
in the first 90k posts...

really wish people posting in this forum would quit acting like others have cornered the market on absurdity

Exactly why knock out the other half that aren't by hiring this clown. Yes he can coach but UT needs a solid all around coach. At this point this dude has way to much baggage. With said baggage we would be the next Miami. We don't need the T to stand for thug!!!!!!
