West Virginia's Ad says he'll take the SEC call

Adding WV is a horrible idea! I bet Kentucky loves the idea though, they will no longer have the most inbred fanbase.

WVU in the SEC makes me sick.

not good then... considering all indications point to the SEC presidents giving Slive permission to approach WVU.. and WVU has an AD willing to listen. Looks like we could be at #14.. sooner rather than later

I know it's likely to happen.

It still makes me sick.

Bleh. Why WVU? Kentucky is already too cold in November without having to travel even further north to that cold ass, hillbilly, mountain-side, shanty town.

God, it's going to be awesome when we lose our annual Alabama rivalry so that we get to play the frigging couchburners every year instead. Fantastic.

I'm ok with adding WVU.

I think 13-16 are going to be aTm, Mizzou, Va Tech, and WVU. My concern, though, is that stopping at 14 after aTm and WVU could
(1) give Pac 12 and B1G a chance to court Mizzou, and
(2) give the ACC a chance to solidify enough that Va Tech wouldn't listen to our offers.

if expansion is inevitable. I'd be happy @ 14 w/A&M and MO

College Station, TX to Morgantown, WV is a 2,624 mile round-trip, that would total 44 hours in a car.

VT isn't going anywhere...The ACC will be exploring expansion as well....WVU would be a good addition...Rabid fanbase and decent in both mens and womens basketball as well.

5. Ohio State
6. Alabama
7. Penn State

9. USC
10. Tennessee
11. Georgia
12. LSU
13. Auburn
14. West Virginia

15. Syracuse
16. Georgia Tech

We'd be adding the #14 and #18 programs all time, and 9 of our 14 would be in the all-time top 25.

Part of me likes this because it's very realistic and I'd gladly welcome the addition of their solid basketball program. The other part of me thinks they have the worst fan base in America, so...
