You are probably right but I can see 9 now. Harris will be graduating as well I think and she is one of the 9 I count. If you want to go then please do all of us a favor and go! If you want on the Kellie train get your head up and go to work to get better! Better teammates, better shooters, better shape, better rebounders, better dribblers, better listeners, better communicators, and make yourself better people and enjoy the elite few that can be LVs for life! We will never you and get your degrees!!!I believe that is Mimi obscured by Lou Brown's head. Also, you can see the shoulder of someone on the other side of Evina. The current roster has nine players and there were nine individuals in the meeting.

All players are there.

Glad to see they are all there and I hope it’s a good sign that they will all stay and not that they are just participating to fulfill their duties to receive a scholarship. All players are there.

Can anyone read body language? Back row looks good - smiles, looking at coach, bodies upright and slightly forward. Mimi does have her face partially covered. Not giving anything away? Kam looks intent, questioning, no smile but leaning forward, focused on coach. Lou and Rae look happy, big smiles, looking at coach, bodies forward. Rennia looks disengaged, slouched, only one not looking at coach, but she does not read easy. The body could be just Rennia, the not looking could just be the moment the shutter snapped. Zaay...leaning forward, intent, looking, no smile, maybe a ‘I’m listening, sell me’? KK leans forward, slight smile, looking at coach. All players are there.

Renia always looks detached, possibly part of her problem last season. Can anyone read body language? Back row looks good - smiles, looking at coach, bodies upright and slightly forward. Someone who knows how (not I) could decipher a lot from that pic.

Madtownvol - My apologies to you I thought you were one of the Holly fans. Had you mixed up.Uh, Westbrook said in response to an overly aggressive reporter, right after the disappointing UCLA loss, that some changes need to be made in the "staff" along with off the court stuff among players.
So, how about stop spreading the falsehood that she publicly called for Holly to be fired?
And what are her character flaws; not liking to lose?; being frustrated over bad coaching?
Harper is smart, she will talk to Evina who is too good of a player to let walk without a reparation effort.
For the record, Evina DID NOT GET HOLLY FIRED and why you keep treating like Holly's Judas is beyond all reason.
If Evina had sad nothing, the team would have still had a losing streak to lowly Alabama; a historic six game losing streak followed by a "no longer historic" 3 game losing streak, coupled with a historic home loss to lowly Vanderbilt, coupled with a losing conference record, coupled with barely making the tournament, coupled with yet another early round exit from the NCAA tourney.
But, yeah, if Evina had not said that there was a problem, Holly would have gotten a big raise and a contract extension because she was taking the program to "new historical" places, right?
I’m glad the whole team was there and really hope Evina stays. Like I said, I think she can really mold Evina into the point guard she wants to be.
Good look!

Btw that was an excellent read take on Holly's record. Thanks.
You see what I see. I’m not too concerned about Rennia, that’s just her demeanor. Very common where she grew up. She’s a tough read and always has been. That’s why she catches so much flack in the season. She doesn’t look like she’s giving 100% but at the end of the night she almost always puts up the best numbers on the team.
I actually don’t mind that she’s a bit more reserved with her emotions, go on and let her be the silent assassin.

If Evina wants to improve, Kellie should present the notion of her going up against Jordan daily in practices. That challenge ought to bring out the best in players. It's one big reason a lot of top talent wants to play alongside ( and against) other talented athletes. They relish competition rather than fearing it.
I don't see Kellie begging anyone to stay, but I do think she can articulate possibilities that will sell themselves to willing players. She's an excellent motivator.
I do hope she'll challenge all the players, especially perimeter players, to make three-point shooting a priority area of improvement.
You don't tell a Junior that going up against a Freshman will make her better.
Nope
You just pit em against each other in the environments that benefit them competing head to head.
Lot of mixed emotions going on there lol. The ones everyone seems to think are leaving are all smiles. The rest have their best mean mug on.
You knew I'd take a stab at it
Evina is sizing her up. Listening to things ..,like a student.
Mimi: Peep-eye (it's a southern thing)
Harris: 100% "in"
Lou: No change in what I see now and what I seen all season. She will hit the floor as a player for the first time as a TN player, under KJH
Rae: her face says "You better be different!" (Not daringly,,,Hopefully)
Rennia: The eyes, the arm,,,"I'll give you my focus but you will have to earn my respect".
Zae: "whatever"
Kamera: Focused. Looks like a kid realizing she has a clean slate
