Last year sucked. But it's over and gone. We played in this game the way I expected us to play in the first game last year. I'm not sure if the best OC alive could of got an awful lot more out of Vandy tonight. They are just void of talent, offensively especially.

On a side note, Vandy dropped anchor and the durn ship freaking sank haha.

His job is to put the players in a position to make plays, which he did. They just dont, and won't have the horses to be successful. As I said earlier I thought dude called a good game, but it won't matter. Vandy is back to being Vandy.

Their biggest issue is their QB. McRrary is flat out awful (although still better than Peterman).

Western is CUSA...they're not supposed to be good. That said, good to see them stick one to Vandy.

I wonder if Austin Peay can beat them next -- and LOL they play @ Middle Tennessee later on -- another Loss maybe

Haha. Just love it. If Norris doesn't drop that "flea flicker" WR screen, which might've been a score, and the other WRs don't drop 4 or 5 other passes in the first half and Doughty gets in a rhythm early, that would've been a completely different ballgame IMO. You guys clearly had some jitters and took awhile to knock off the rust. Just love that you guys won....you did God's work handing Vandy an early loss and getting their season off on the wrong foot.
