There are some really good ones, and there are some really bad ones. I think they would be divided just like others in this country. I do think that in Knox County the Sheriff’s department would stand with the citizens, but I’m not convinced that city police would.

The second amendment gives you the right to keep and bear arms. If using those arms to change government is what you're aluding to go for it. I believe you will end up dead or in jail though.

I have friends on the city force that wouldn't enforce any of that stuff.

Well I am a certified police officer and I’m telling you you’re dead ass wrong. You sound like some leftist BLM supporter. Police sign up to protect people from bad things. Not a single officer that I personally know would carry out an order to kill an innocent, law abiding citizen.

We saw cops in Mississippi and Kentucky last year shutting down Easter church services... not exactly Kalifornia.

Police main objective nowadays in to generate revenue through traffic stops and petty infractions. They take great joy in enforcing unconstitutional civil asset forfeitures, and the police DGAF about the citizens as a whole. They haven't exhibited any actions that make me think that they would protect the people from a tyrannical POTUS or governor or group of legislators.

Plus, no offense to the cops on here, but we are about 1 to 2 decades away from robot police officers that have zero emotional involvement and robots only follow orders.

You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about. You take the one bad apple that the media decides is news worthy and paint a picture of anyone that wears a badge. It’s not your fault though. It’s the media’s. They say never mind to the majority of cops that are there for the right reasons and really are all about integrity and replace the hundreds with the one that’s overstepping his boundaries. If you’re going to trust that one bad cop to be the one carrying out those orders, you’ll find that that handful will be heavily outnumbered by those that will not.

All I can do is take your word for it. I hope you are right, but I've very rarely seen a cop not follow an unjust order and side with the civilian.

What’s been your interaction with cops? Tickets? Ever been around a group of cops in an actual stressful situation? What about the cops that ran into the World Trade Center? Were they pieces of chit on September 10th?

There has to be a reason and that reason was obviously withheld from the public view. Cops don’t just go around and say “There’s some people having fun. Let’s put a stop to that chit”
