To answer your idiotic question, I took it because I've witnessed enough friends and family dying to covid to understand the reality of the situation. If a majority of lifelong medical professionals who are far more educated than myself (and certainly you smoothbrains) on these matters are recommending to take it and if the current numbers of hospitalized vaxxed versus unvaxxed continue to illustrate what most of us already know, then that is more than enough for someone like me to set aside my misgivings and get it.

I genuinely do not care if someone who adamantly refuses the vaccine (barring conditions in which it would be harmful to them) contracts covid and dies as a result. I don't hope for it, no, but at this point, I genuinely don't feel any degree of sadness.

We’re not even talking about the point of the thread. The thread was intended to talk about how close we are. Not whether we agree with vaccinations or not. The reason I started it was because of all the chaos of the past year. First riots, BLM, Antifa. Then infringements one after another. The people I know are thinking it’s much closer than we realize and I was wondering if everyone felt the same.
