Madden games and the restrictions on cb's to hinder wideouts have ruined the way people watch football. What a travesty that neither QB threw for 300 and 3 TDs. It was one of the best games played in recent memory, IMO.

The qbs are just so poor it made it a little rough.

Bad special teams blunders, penalties. Teams were equal, but bama wins w a kicker.

don't get me wrong I wish we could be 9-0 and win a boring game against an arch rival

but that LSU Alabama game was a huge letdown for the rest of the nation that is not a fan of these two teams

I was the only one of 8 people who could stay up to watch the end of the game. and I wish I would have gone to bed earlier that overtime was terrible...

I will be sooo glad when Saben's rule of terror is over in the SEC... these types of games are his MO

QB play was not national championship level..many open receives were missed or not seen and when they were open cathes were not made

BORING??? lol: Seriously??...Was one of the best ballgames I have ever watched...Fantastic defense by both teams....Edge of your seat action....Some people just don't get it. :yes:

There is more to watching football than watching high powered offenses score lots of points. While it is true that the quarterbacks did not play well, both defenses played fantastic. There is a great deal to be said for watching a strategic, hard hitting, defense dominated game. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Not every game has to be a shootout to be entertaining. A good defensive battle is great to watch every now and then.

I love how people are bashing OSU-KSU. OSU-KSU was as entertaining on the offensive side as Bama-LSU was on the defensive side. I thought both games were great.

I thought it was a great game. Saban won with two NC with average QB already. And look who won the NC for TN, it wasn't Manning. I don't understand why people think Texas Tech style offense wins championships?

Maybe you are to dumb to realise a valid point


I'm sticking by my guns.. these QBs are a liability... If either team gets into bowl game agaist a team that finds a way to score we might all be shocked at the outcome.. and I'll get to say I told you so once again

Both those offenses with poor qbs as you say have been dropping 30-40 points/game all season. The offenses didn't suddenly suck. The defense was that good. There isn't an offense in the country that can outplay either of those defenses.

Bama & LSU's offense is good enough to score on any other defense in the country. Playing against their defense in practice makes Saturdays much easier.

and btw, if you can't rely on shows like PTI & Around the Horn for valid sports information. The whole premise of those shows is to have something to argue. Many times the hosts don't truly believe the arguement. They take an opposite view because it makes for good television and ratings.
