What a boring game

Not really. Maybe Alabamas defense.

LSU has played 1 (one) good team with a good passing attack and they got torched for nearly 500 yards at a 60% completion rate.

I'd like to know how you define "good."

Alabama - 68th ranked Passing attack
LSU - 102nd

Good? I don't think so.

WVU threw 65 times on dink and dunk throws and still lost by 26 points. The game was over at halftime and lsu lightened up in the 3rd before crushing then for good in the 4th quarter.

For those saying OSU will light it up against LSU, we've heard that argument several times before..... Like nearly every single BCS championship game ever played.

Nobody said it was the best game ever. It doesn't have to be perfect to be riveting. The defenses were spectacular; the quarterbacks weren't good; the special teams play was great on one side and awful on the other. And it decided the game, as it should have. That game was Neyland's maxims personified. If you thought that game was boring then your father failed you.

True that boring may be an overstatement. But this was not the best game of the decade.. so what-ever you want to call it boring or over-hyped and a let down...same difference.

I did enjoy seeing bama go down at home.

you obviously have no clue about football.

Do you really think that this game was anywhere as close as interesting as UT UF best games in the 90's...I don't. These teams had QB's and great D's. The games were still realitivly low scoring many times but never no 6-6 bull we saw on sat

UM FSU games in the 80-90s were also much better than the scap we saw last Friday... for exactly the same reason

Both teams have had good quarterback play all year. You think the defenses involved had anything to do with the fact that they suddenly both looked incompetent on the same night?

not really. receivers were open and missed or just not seen.

If you were bored, you were bored. Obviously nobody can persuade you differently. All I know is that at the house where I watched the game, the women were all bored stiff and in the kitchen talking about their kids and celebrities and stuff, while the all the men could barely drag themselves away from the TV long enough to go get more beer. If you can't appreciate a game like that, then too bad for you.

I was more let down than bored. i liked the hard hitting hard nosed play, but something was just lacking to make this game an instant classic. Maybe i just don't appreciate anything Bama does because I hate them..

As far as the low scoring nature that is a matter of taste.

In that game every play, every yard, every inch was earned and was extremely important. Hard not to enjoy a game like that.

Great defenses and mediocre offenses. Would be interesting to see lsu this year play USC from several years ago

Looking at how many points these teams have been averaging per game, I'm not sure calling them mediocre is a great way to describe their offense.
