What brand of coffee are you drinking?

That's also because coffee is mad expensive over there. They don't have the big honkin cans of Folgers and whatnot. It's the smaller bags that run you about 7 Euro as a minimum.

The German coffee I had out in public tended to be a bit on the weak side for my tastes. Not like tea, but certainly a lot weaker than Americans drink it. But they had good flavors and I ended up bringing a bunch back when I returned to the States. All gone now though...

Never did get the taste for Raki
. Of course, I hated the seven months I was in Turkey, so that might have been the underlying reason lol

It's the turnip juice you didn't like, isn't it. :p

Not sure if either of these roasters distribute in that neck of the woods, but I get beans from Stumptown or Coava.

In any case, if you get over to Germany, run by the local Rewe and grab a couple of bags of the Dallmayr Ethiopian blend. You won't be disappointed.

Not likely now since I've changed jobs, but I'll keep it in mind anyway. Thanks for the tip!

Drinking almost any kind.....But I prefer 100% Arabica Coffee. Which is hard, very hard to get seemingly. The only that I have found in the last 4 months is Wally worlds brand. Which only has about a 15-to-20% taste translation to the good stuff.

Does anyone know where to get this or is this Coffee a seasonal item available only a few time a year?

building supplies but it's probably not much different

possibility...I graduated from UT with a degree in engineering in 1974, then got an MBA from Columbia only to spend the first 3 or years of my career traveling to OEM's and taking all the UAW guys coffee, doughnuts, T-shirts, and baseball caps in the morning....then out to lunch...and then to Detroit and Windsor Canada strip clubs at night...obviously much of that changed over the years....now they actually expect you to make parts that work...

Wow! 2 pages in and not a single Dunkin Donuts vote.

I've seen people switch from Bear Mountain, Community, and Starbucks over to Dunkin. I've also heard so many people say Starbucks is bitter.

DD is good. I like Starbucks too.

My daughter studied abroad last summer and picked something like that up in Amsterdam. Said it made her hungry.:ermm:

K cup reusable filter. I use Starbucks ground Verona blend. It's actually more affordable to use K cup ground filter like this than drip or regular k cups.

Actually most German coffee I had while over there was fairly weak compared to American brews. But they had some good brands of coffee, especially the Dallmyer Ethiopian blend.

On the other hand, the Middle East can (and will) keep you up for days.

Saw a couple packages of Dallmyer in TJ Maxx today.

I've heard from a number of people that the aeropress is hands down the best way to make coffee. I'll have to try it

It makes fantastic coffee. It's obviously more trouble than popping in a K-cup, but it's worth it if you have the time.

good ole JFG back when i could have coffee,i had to quit because of some heart surgery, the Doctor smiled afterwards and told me,you had the true open heart surgery lol and damn if i don't miss my pot and a half of coffee everyday

Anyone else got a Tennessee coffee mug? I saw a couple earlier in the thread.
