Gotta bring back the cigar thread for bama week. If we win I'll have either a Cohiba or Montecristo. If I'm conscious, Ill be drinking and BBQing all day tomorrow.

Don't know much about cigars at all, however the last one I had was a Cuban my friend got while in the islands on a business trip. I thought it was kinda harsh, but like I said I've only smoked maybe 10-15 real cigars.

I have some Cubans I brought back from St Maarten a few weeks ago. They're good but IMO Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua are producing cigars just as good. Many Cuban cigar makers left Cuba and set up in these countries.

A good ashton or a macunudo. Really whatever i can find at the time. A campfire, a good cigar and a glass of wild turkey or jameson is where its at.

What are those white grape things all the kids buy at the 7/11 stores? I assume it has something to do with pot?

Finally ordered some more cigars this week. My humidor was getting bare. Sancho Panza, Gran Habano, and Victor Sinclair. :yes:

I don't smoke at all any more but when I did I was a Partagas guy. When they came out with the special edition boxes with the Cameroon wrappers that had been in storage for a zillion years I picked up a few boxes and they were the best smokes I ever had. I had a Cohiba connection and also got a fair share of other Cubanos but those Partagas' were far superior to even the best Cuban Hoyo's I ever smoked... For a budget smoke I always liked either the Arturo Fuente's or (when I could find 'em) Avo Uvezian piramids....

The wife makes me smoke them outside, so I gotta wait another week or two before it is smoking weather. I got a dozen or so "LA aroma De cuba" maduros waiting for me when that day comes.

I was in the same boat. I now have a man room with an exhaust fan. She's cool with me smoking cigars in there. I am looking forward to being able to sit on the patio and have a cold one and a smoke too though. Wont be long.
