I think that people that enjoy the aroma of a cigar have the capacity to enjoy smoking them as well. The key is finding the right kind. No two cigars are the same. I love cigars, but there are some that make me want to throw up. You just have to find the ones that suit you. And NEVER inhale! When I was a dumb high school kid, I didn't know you weren't supposed to inhale them. I threw up for an hour straight. It almost ruined cigars for me altogether. Luckily, I gave it another chance after college.

Also, if cigars are generally too pungent or harsh, there are tons of pipe tobaccos that would probably be enjoyable for you. But, neither of these things is for everybody.

Haha I don't think I ever vomited, but yeah they've made me feel queasy. It's hard to describe, but they leave an unpleasant, kinda tingling sensation in my mouth. I just don't like it.

Understandable. Body chemistry varies drastically from one person to the next. One complaint I do have is that I hate the taste of my mouth the next morning, but it goes away in short order.

That's common when a new cigar smoker tries a full flavored cigar. You may want to try something in the mild category.

I don't smoke anything anymore, but man, tobacco (minus LIT cigarettes) smells good. I could smell cigars/pipes all day.

Cigar Parlor in Hendersonville closed. Really sucks. Place was a great hangour spot to smoke, watch tv, and talk about stuff.

I find myself smoking mostly conneticut wrapped lately.

R and J's are what I have now.

You ever come to Murfreesboro? There is a cigar shop on the square called The Humidor. Right next door is a bar called liquid smoke where they allow smoking. I usually order my cigars online though.

I actually explained that to the dude at the shop, and he gave me a lighter one. Though it was better, I still got that sensation within 3-4 minutes.

RP's and Montes are always quality.

I like R&J's lately...not sure why...but just been smoking more of theirs.
