it's very clearly blue and black. the dress has just been through the wash one too many times, and the lighting is s**t.

Agree with this. I mean what I see you could call black, but it is not really black. Maybe super dirty dingy charcoal or something.

Random color samples (for the larger color areas) come up as "mostly blue" using a utility like Color Pix for what it is worth.

I saved the pic to my phone to make sure no one was changing it. It was gold and white and I thought they were crazy to say blue. I looked at it an hour later and its blue and black.
