I'm colorblind. Based on the description someone posted, I'm left-brained. That dress in blue and black. I feel like the double rainbow guy needs to weigh in. What does it all mean?

Ok so when I look at the OP and only see the top of the pic, it looks white and gold, when i scroll down, i see blue and black/brown...

Despite your self assurance, Photoshop find plenty of spots in the brown/gold spectrum.

Photoshop samples find gold/brown near the top of the dress and dark gray near the bottom. Regardless of what the dress looks like in real life, those colors are all in the picture.

Just out of curiosity... what color do people see in the area that I've circled? To me it is a slightly brighter shade of "goldish brown" not too different from the gold in the dress. Does anyone see it as a different color?

Sorry, I can see how some could view the white as blue because of the lighting like several have mentioned but in no way is gold ever going to be confused with black.

That's quite possibly the original color of the dress, but people seeing gold aren't wrong as that color is in the picture.

As is light blue and dark gray

It's all an illusion.

Just looked at it on my phone, white and gold, looked at the blue and black one on the laptop, and then back to the phone. It's blue and black now.

Look at the original photo and look to the left of it. There is a BLACK and white dress behind that white and gold dress. THAT is what black looks like on a screen.

i think it's a huge stretch for someone to see gold there. the only part that comes close to looking like gold is the very top portion, and as I stated earlier, I understand somebody not completely seeing black there. gold though? i just don't see it. i just see a very faded black/grayish color.

regardless, the only thing i was arguing with you was the ACTUAL colors of the dress, not what colors the photo might portray.

I'm done for now. going to bed. not looking forward to waking up tomorrow to see this crap has exploded all over the fbook.
