I see white and gold at first but the longer I look I see blue and black.

The Internet comments have been awesome on this

I see blue and black today, but both times I saw the article or picture on facebook I saw gold and black.

I just don't buy it.

I see a burnished gold, almost bronze, and a cornflower blue, which could be white in the shade. There is nothing black about it. ???

Yep - that's what I see at first. Actually, I assume white but upon inspection I see light blue but definitely gold as you describe.

However, if I look at it for a while - particularly focusing on what we both agree is a shade of blue - and let the blue set in I can see the goldish become a washed out black.

All of this from a bunch of people who swear they can tell the difference in one shade of orange from the real UT orange.

It's white and gold. lol.

Okay, damn. For two days I've been trying to see something other than white and gold. Forget it. So a few minutes ago I started staring at that black and white dress in the background on the left, then when I looked at the whole picture again it was blue and black. Kind of a washed out fadey black but I would have identified it as black.

Now I can't get it back to white and gold again. Which brings me to two conclusions:
1) Clearly either the dress or the internet is of the devil.
2) I don't have nearly enough spare time to act like someone with too much time on my hands.

Sounds like a job for more scotch.
