The funny part of that is Saban likely lost the title that year cause he sent Lane to FAU before the title game. Sark was a disaster calling that game.

Kiffin needs the top dogs in the west to fall if he is going to ever be a champion. Of course he wants us to beat them and long-term a weaker Alabama is good for him too both on the field and in recruiting.

I watched the clip, I think y’all direct too much hate towards Lane, or think hes obsessed over us. He was literally walking on the field doing the chat over headphones with the both and casually said it, just calm as day. Didn’t carry on, didn’t get cocky.
Tennessee fans are the ones with an obsession, even if it’s an unhealthy one filled with hate.
He actually coached at both Alabama and Tennessee. He could have easily called for a Bama win, just to “troll” Vol fans if he wanted too like you all think. Hell in that scenario he wouldn’t piss off the fans at Bama, which haven’t had a reason to dislike him, and just got more TN fans made, but hell he’s damned either way here

A lot of Tn fans have separation anxiety. If Lane Kiffin ever leaves their heads, he's replaced instantly with Jon Gruden.

No one has separation anxiety or an obsession with Kiffin. He is just an unprofessional dick who we happen to have a permanent connection with. It’s not about him living rent free in our heads. It’s not lingering over an ex. It’s that he is a bad person who treated us poorly. Most of us simply respond accordingly when he is brought up. We are well over him.

The guy knows he messed up by bolting for the Trojans. He was a California boy growing up. I don’t blame him for taking that job. We were in the dumps from Fulmer circa’04-‘08. That being said, Lane clearly loves the Vols. He’s not trolling. He’s all but come out and said that he regretted leaving. Vol fans should let the hate go. It’s not a good look.

I have mixed emotions about this. On one hand, if OM wins, they are in contention in the West. On the other, if they have a loss and beat Bama, that is a different set of circumstances.
