My son loved Good Eats when he was young (like 6)... I was like what the heck is this Alton Brown nut job on when I watched it the first time with him but after that we never missed an episode. Pretty easy to make, I used a regular pie crust for the top

Felt like some country cooking tonight. So I made chicken casserole, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, greasy beans (that we froze last summer) and buttermilk biscuits. There’s a Krispy Kreme doughnut that will be dessert after while. View attachment 623499

oh yeah, I did have dinner last night.

Mrs AV finally got 1.5 pound chunk of fine beef into the pot, tossed in plenty of maters and other veggies and we had a helluva good soup that we''ll savor for days. As usual, we were late to the TV trays, and I went light on the hot sauce after a few accidental moves got the bad rib to screaming

I had set the two games to record, and got to watching the knechtters at least 90 minutes. after tipoff. No heartburn until I accidedntally became aware of he bummers' late blitz
