What did you have for dinner II?

Gussied up pizza, starting with the base of sausage, pepperoni, and whatever the third meat is, adding sautéed red onion, mushrooms, and red peppers to the whole thing, then artichoke hearts* and anchovies to his side, more pepperoni to my side, and then both sides with shredded Italian cheese and Cento tomato paste in a tube.

* Artichoke hearts to his side because the last time I made this, I was tearing the pantry apart, looking for a jar of his anchovies, saw a jar with a label that began with a and ended with s, and opened it. --> artichoke hearts. It's a big jar. It will take a while to get through it.
Actually, I’ve deliberately made artichoke heart pizza for my missus. She especially liked the one with roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, blobs of ricotta, and a heavy dusting of milled Parmesan cheese.

Forgot to post the pic of my dinner lol. We moved into our new house this weekend. The stove is gas and I’m getting used to it. The lowest setting is a medium simmer so I need to figure out how to just keep my pot warm without burning the food 😅. Pointers welcome.

Love, love gas ranges, but yeah.

Heavy-bottom skillets are your friend, including (but not only) cast iron.

And this guy has become one of my besties (I can never view Amazon links, so I'm adding a pic, which is probably what everyone else sees):

It's a lifesaver if you find that you have problems with hot spots, whether from the gas flame or from a thin spot in your cookwear. Just set it directly on the burner, and put your pan on top. The flames get broken up and diverted through all the little holes and channels for more even cooking.

Thank you!
