Funny, when I was looking at the ingredients, I was thinking that Hot Italian Sausage would be a good addition

Just throw whatever you like in there! The tortellini is just the skeleton. It’s like a pizza.

- We have found that it works a lot better to have a light sauce to kind of bind (gently) everything together. I usually use this or some variety of it. It makes about a cup, so you’ll either have extra, or you’ll want to cut it back a bit. There’s a LOT of blather there, so you’ll probably want to just skip down to the actual recipe:
